You have a contract in your soul: a review of the series “Mandalorets”

A sullen Mandalore warrior (Pedro Pascal), who never takes off his helmet (such is the Way), works as a mercenary and gives almost all his savings to his congeners, who, once a great race, now hide underground and quietly restore their former glory. On one of the most expensive missions, the formidable former imperial (Werner Herzog) instructs the Mandalorian to deliver a creature alive or dead. It turns out to be a small sweet child, and the hero – realizing that the client is not going to do anything good with this child – begins a difficult struggle with his own conscience.

Current War (2017)

Thomas Edison (Benedict Cumberbatch) is on the verge of the greatest technological revolution in world history: after the invention of the light bulb, he is going to bring light to the whole country. To do this, he uses direct current – not too efficient, expensive, but absolutely safe. Not everyone agrees with this decision: industrial tycoon George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon), holding a fair grudge against Edison (he once brazenly ignored George’s friendly invitation), wants to convince the inventor that alternating current is much more convenient, and opens his own competing enterprise. The scientist Nikola Tesla (Nicholas Holt) also repeats Thomas Thomas about this. But Edison does not agree to anything: he says that alternating current is dangerous and can kill.

When Frank is killed in one of the cases, which is more important than the search for mistresses, the only one who is ready to investigate the death of a mentor is Lionel. He used to be a sidekick and didn’t climb on the rampage, but now the man was left alone with the predatory streets of New York. And uncontrolled impulse to tell nasty things to their inhabitants.
